Diagnostic
We are pleased to offer in our office the latest in X-ray technology. Comprehensive exams are much different than the "checkup" you might have experienced in the past. In order to reach a complete understanding of your present state of health, we gather data about your muscles, temporomandibular (jaw) joints, occlusion (bite), and how these three components work together in your mouth. Evaluating the health of the periodontium (gums) and surrounding soft tissues as well as an oral cancer screening is part of the process.

Preventive Services for Children and Adults
It is recommended having your teeth cleaned professionally twice yearly. In addition to regular brushing and flossing, it is the easiest way to maintain the health of your teeth, gums and mouth.

Periodontal
All patients need and deserve to have a complete periodontal examination and to have a complete record of their status recorded in their dental chart. This is the only way to ensure that advanced periodontal disease is detected; it provides a way to identify beginning changes in periodontal status that will benefit patients by initiating early and simple treatment. We provide both surgical and non-surgical treatment of gum disease.

Cosmetic

Lumineers: A layer of porcelain that can be made as thin as a contact lens and are translucent enough to look like your real teeth. There's no painful fitting because there is no need to use a drill or anesthetic to prepare your teeth. Used to permanently whiten, fix uneven spacing, lengthen short teeth, and reshape awkward teeth.

Whitening (gel solution): We will make a tray to custom fit your teeth, to which a safe whitening agent is applied. The trays are worn anywhere from 30 minutes a day to overnight, depending on the solution you and Dr. Anderson find most suitable. Most patients notice results within a few applications.

Bonding: A composite resin, the color of tooth enamel, can be used to repair fissures or chips and get rid of or diminish gaps. It is also used to fill cavities while maintaining a more natural look than traditional fillings. Bonding is not usually as permanent as porcelain veneers.

Veneers: This effective cosmetic procedure involves bonding a thin layer of porcelain to the prepared tooth surface. Veneers can make teeth look whiter, straighter and more evenly spaced, often in only two sessions. Most commonly used to fix cracked teeth and fill in the gap between front teeth.

Orthodontics

Invisalign: Invisalign is the clear way to straighten teeth. Invisalign treatment consists of a series of aligners that are switched out about every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured with exact calculations to gradually shift teeth into place. Treatment is usually less than 2 years! The aligners are removable for better cleaning. This also allows you to eat without restrictions. And since it's clear, you don't have to hide your smile while going through treatment. Invisalign is the best way to transform your smile without interfering with your day-to-day life.

Six Month Smiles: Straight teeth in the time it takes between your regular check-up and cleaning visits! 6 Month Braces are very similar to conventional adult orthodontics. The Six Month Smiles Braces technique uses tooth-colored brackets and wires. They are barely visible! The mechanism of moving the teeth is the same. We do not move teeth faster. The difference between the Six Month Smiles technique and conventional braces is with 6 Month Braces, we are focusing only on the teeth that show when you smile. The goal of 6 Month Braces is to give you a smile you can be proud of in a reasonable amount of time.

Restorative

Sealants: Plastic coatings applied to the grooves of the molars to prevent decay. A great procedure to help promote dental healtlh in children.

Bridges: Bridges are vital in protecting not only the balance of your bite and chewing motion, but the integrity of your facial features as well. A person who leaves missing teeth unattended may permanently alter the shape and contour of his or her face. Bridges easily restore not only the balance of the mouth, but typically look and feel as natural as your own teeth.

Crowns: The affected tooth is reshaped so that a natural-looking synthetic material, usually porcelain, can augment it. This procedure is also beneficial for teeth that show wear and tear or are crooked.

Cosmetic Fillings: There are different composite filling materials to choose from and you and Dr. Anderson should decide which one best suits your needs. Early detection of cavities is the best way to treat them, as many can be filled without the need of needles.

Endodontics

Commonly referred to as a root canal, wherein the pulp of the tooth is cleaned out, the space disinfected and then filled. Dr. Anderson provides a gentle, pain-free experience.

The treatment plan will include an estimate of cost to you and an estimate of your insurance benefits if you have insurance to assist you. We offer several convenient payment methods to enable you to get a beautiful, healthy smile as easily as possible.

DENTAL INSURANCE
Many patients have some dental insurance coverage. Policies vary widely in the amount and scope of coverage, and often purely cosmetic services are not covered. Functional, restorative and preventive procedures are covered at different levels by different policies. We assist all patients who so desire by filing insurance claims electronically. It is our pleasure to do this for you. We do our best to estimate what percentage coverage you may have. You pay only the estimated percentage of your total bill, that portion not covered by insurance. We ask for that part to be paid the day of service. For prepayment in full of any treatment of $300 or more, you will receive a 5% accounting courtesy. We do accept American Express, Discovery, Master Card, and Visa.
